Starbucks Corp. announced that it is set to debut its latest caffeinated concoction: flavored instant coffee. The four slightly sweetened varieties of popular Via instant brew will be sold in Starbucks stores this fall. The single-serving packages of mocha, vanilla, caramel and cinnamon dissolve in water. They'll be added to grocery store shelves early next year.

Starbucks announced the next step in building the instant coffee category with the introduction of Starbucks VIA Flavored Coffee in U.S. and Canada stores this fall. Just one year since the launch, the Starbucks VIA Ready Brew portfolio will now include four natural flavors - Vanilla, Mocha, Caramel and Cinnamon Spice. Starbucks is entering the $377 million flavored coffee market in the U.S. having two forms of flavored coffee, instant and ground, in different distribution channels.

Starbucks Corp. has announced that it will introduce Starbucks VIA Ready Brew in Philippines starting mid-September 2010. All Starbucks stores in the Philippines will reportedly carry Starbucks VIA Ready Brew in Colombia, Italian Roast and Decaffeinated Italian Roast. Starbucks VIA Ready Brew is made from arabica coffee.
