NVIDIA Corporation reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended August 1, 2010. The company reported revenue of $811.2 million for the second quarter of fiscal 2011, down 19.0% from the prior quarter and up 4.5% from $776.5 million from the same period a year earlier. On a GAAP basis, the company recorded a net loss of $141.0 million, or $0.25 per diluted share compared with net income of $137.6 million, or $0.23 per diluted share, in the previous quarter and a net loss of $105.3 million, or $0.19 per diluted share, in the same period a year earlier. Operating loss was $175,207,000 against $110,107,000 a year ago. Loss before income tax was $169,047,000 against $107,101,000 a year ago. On a Non-GAAP basis, net income was $20,109,000 or $0.03 per diluted share against $10,672,000 or $0.02 per diluted share a year ago. Free cash flows were negative at $3,300,000 against positive free cash flows of $117,461,000 a year ago. For the six months, the company reported revenue of $1,813,021,000 against $1,440,751,000 a year ago. Operating loss was $27,814,000 against $341,072,000 a year ago. Loss before income tax was $18,322,000 against $331,922,000 a year ago. Net loss was $3,367,000 or $0.01 per diluted share against $306,640,000 or $0.56 per diluted share a year ago. On a Non-GAAP basis, net income was $157,703,000 or $0.27 per diluted share against net loss of $58,925,000 or $0.11 per diluted share a year ago.
